Thefolks behind the sd-6 group knew then and took a chance. The gentleman in question got his access with Easynews shut off becausethey were informed by someone connected to Sex and the City (and in aposition to act as legal representation) that he was posting somethingthat was a copyright violation. Under current law, if Easynews didn'tshut down the account in question then they forfeit their escape as'merely a conduit'. SMALLVILLE BITTORRENT : Naja, zum einen sind in letzterzeit reihenweise Tracker ausgefallen (ein fuermich wichtiger ist inzwischen wieder da, hat allerdings erstmal die Haelftemeiner torrents nicht mehr) und zum anderen sind Serien (und auch andereTV-Shows) die Spezialitaet von BitTorrent (und der Grund, warum ich eseinsetzte)... Wollte ich Software wuerde ich mit dem Maultier spielen, fuerMP2s mich von KaZaA quaelen lassen und fuer Filme mir einen passendenDC-Hub suchen... Soll jetzt nicht heissen, dass es soetwas bei BT nichtgibt, im Gegenteil habe ich doch schon etliche komplette Alben dort gesehen,Matrix und Animatrix sind mom. ebenfalls heisse Kandidaten (zumindestwenn ich meinem TorrentSpy glauben mag) und im Suesswarenladen habeich mehr als eine Software gesehen, von kompletten Images fuer VS.NETueber SuSE-DVD-Images bis zu einem RealPlayer (dank Trackerausfallsehe ich allerdings mom. nur die SuSE :-)...Das aendert aber auch nichts daran, dass BT nunmal sehr stark auf Serienspezialisiert ist (ich beschaeftige mich gerade mit Smallville und Alias jeweilsin der zweiten Staffel; weiss der Teufel wann RTL oder Pro7 gedenken, dasmal auszustrahlen :-) und man fuer passende Daten eben das passendeFileSharing-Tool einsetzen sollte... As such, I'mat pains to read too much of what is written here (don't want to spoil thesurprise) because Season Two has just started here - "Heat" was ontonight....very hot ;-)However, I do have a question. The network that has the rights toSmallville in Australia (Channel 9) is spoiling our fun by editing theshow...very badly, and oh so obvious. On average (based on last year'sscreenings) each episode runs for a tad under forty minutes...or aboutforty-one minutes when you count the opening and closing credits and the"next week on Smallville" spiel. So just how long does the average episoderun for in the US?I've been told it is so that the network can fulfil it's advertisingcommitments....but it doesn't seem right. Guess I'll just have to wait forthat DVD - Season One to come out (message to self - need to buy a DVD)!It can ave.range from 42 to 44.No longer than 45 but no shorter than 41.
